    SIAMS

On 13 November 2024, our academy underwent a Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS). We are delighted to announce that we received a J1 judgement. This acknowledges that through its vision and practice, our school is living up to its foundation as a Church school, enabling both students and adults to flourish.

We are immensely proud of this achievement, which reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our entire academy community. Below are some key highlights from the report:

    • “Leaders ensure that the Christian vision is a lived reality where students and adults can flourish.”

    • “The curriculum...is wholly inclusive for the diverse community it serves.”

    • “Staff are fully committed through the curriculum and extensive extracurricular programme to meet the specific needs of students.”

    • “Positive relationships underpin the work of the school, which results in a culture of love and respect for each other. Consequently, the wellbeing of staff and students is prioritised.”

    • “Inclusion is a strength of this school.”

    • “Additional visits...encourage students to be aspirational.”

    • “Students understand that God may be approached in a variety of ways and that there is not just one way to worship.”

    • “Staff are approachable and have relationships with each other, their students and families. This impacts positively, allowing the school community to thrive together.”

These remarks demonstrate our commitment to providing a nurturing, inclusive, and aspirational environment that allows every member of our community to flourish.
