Welcome from our Principal
We are thrilled to welcome you to St Peter’s Collegiate Academy, a Church of England Academy serving the City of Wolverhampton and proud members of Three Spires Trust.
At St Peter’s Collegiate Academy, we are committed to celebrating all individuals and enabling them to live life in all its fullness. All members of the school community are valued and enabled to develop respect, a spirit of service, aspiration, and skills that will lead them toward fulfilling lives with hope and purpose.
Rooted in our Christian values, of service, respect, and aspiration our vision is inclusive and welcomes everyone, from all backgrounds, who seek an education grounded in Christian values and beliefs, which we strive to integrate into everything we do.
Our vision reflects our desire to care for and nurture all members of our school community as they are encouraged to learn and develop knowledge, understanding and to grow in wisdom. This enables them to flourish as lifelong learners who know that they are loved by God and are equipped to serve the community.
Throughout their time at St Peter’s Collegiate Academy, students flourish, benefitting from a rich academic curriculum and strong pastoral care, enriched with cultural experiences and opportunities that reflect our diverse and inclusive community. We actively encourage our students to seek new experiences, develop their skills, and learn new things to fulfil their God-given potential.
Building on the traditions and history of the academy, we are committed to preparing students for the challenges of the future. Alongside our curriculum, we are proud to offer a wide range of opportunities for students to pursue their interests and passions. We aim to embrace vulnerability through endeavour, trusting that our labour is not in vain. We are extremely proud of the remarkable work of our students and staff, who strive to live out our Christian values in all they do.
We look forward to welcoming you into our St Peter’s family.
Mr T Mullen-Furness

Over the coming year, we'll be making greater use of the Arbor App as part of our ongoing work to improve communication and make key processes clearer and more efficient for parents and carers. Arbor will increasingly be used as our central platform for: - important messages and updates; - letters and communications; - trip information and electronic consent; - payments, including a future move to Arbor Pay; - attendance and behaviour information. Our aim is to bring more information into one secure place, reducing the need for multiple emails and paper forms, helping families stay informed more easily. If you have already downloaded the Arbor App, please ensure notifications are switched on. If you have not yet set up your account, we encourage you to do so, as this will become an increasingly important way we communicate with home. Thank you for your continued support as we take this next step forward together.

SPCA Students Make Us Proud Our students represented the academy superbly this week at the City Table Tennis Championships (Years 9–11), held at Our Lady & St Chad's Catholic Academy. With 16 teams competing from across the city, St Peter's Collegiate Academy entered three teams and delivered an outstanding performance, securing gold and silver medals. The final was an all-St Peter's affair, with St Peter's B narrowly defeating St Peter's A in a deciding rubber after the match finished 2–2. Every student involved showed determination, teamwork and resilience throughout the competition, remaining positive and focused, even with a late return to school after 7.00 pm. A fantastic achievement and a real credit to the academy. #WeAreSPCA #FlourishingStudents

A Proud Moment for Ella and Our Community We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of Ella T in Year 7, who attended a dance awards evening just before the Christmas break and received the Hardest Worker 2025 award. Alongside this, Ella has passed her tap and ballet exams with honours and achieved a distinction in her Acrobatic Dance Primary Grade. These results reflect her commitment, focus and the time she puts into her training. Ella is now looking ahead to the next exciting stage of her journey, as she prepares to begin competing next year with her Junior Elite Dance Group at Hollies Dance Academy. We are proud to see our students flourishing in their passions beyond the classroom and wish Ella every success as she continues to develop her talents. #WeAreSPCA #FlourishingStudents #LifeInAllItsFullness

A New Chapter Begins at St Peter's Today, we began the phased return of students into our brand-new building, a significant milestone for our academy and wider community. Students in Years 7, 8 and 11 were among the first to tour the new spaces, exploring three floors of light, bright and thoughtfully designed teaching rooms, equipped with the latest technology and created with learning firmly at the centre. These specialist, future-focused facilities have been designed to support high-quality teaching and learning, providing an environment in which both students and staff can thrive and flourish. Seeing these spaces in use, just as they were intended, has been a proud moment for all involved. Alongside this, our dedicated Site Team have spent the Christmas break upgrading existing areas of the academy. D Block has been transformed, with the creation of new dance and drama studios that will further enrich our creative provision and support specialist learning. The next phase of the project will see the demolition of the former B, C and F blocks, followed by full landscaping of the site. This final stage will complete the transformation of our academy, with the entire programme due to be finished by August. This is about more than buildings. It is about community, opportunity and aspiration. As a flourishing school community, we remain committed to providing outstanding facilities that support the education and development of the children and young people of Wolverhampton. We look forward to welcoming the next groups of students and continuing this exciting journey together. #WeAreSPCA #FlourishingCommunities #Wolverhampton

On this Christmas Day, we send our warmest wishes to our students, families, staff and wider community. As we celebrate the birth of Christ, we reflect on the values that sit at the heart of our academy: love, compassion, service and hope. Christmas reminds us that even in the darkest moments, light breaks through, inviting us to live generously and to help one another flourish. "Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins." 1 Peter 4:8 May this day bring peace to your homes, joy to your hearts and time to pause, reflect and be thankful. We look forward to the year ahead, continuing to grow, serve and flourish together as one community. Merry Christmas from all of us at St Peter's Collegiate Academy.
