We are very much looking forward to working with you to support your child through their first year at our academy.

Dates for your Diary

19 May 2025
Primary Liaison Visits Begin
From this date, staff from St Peter’s will begin visiting students in their primary schools. These visits provide an opportunity to talk to your child about what they are looking forward to and to answer any questions they may have about the transition to St Peter’s.

By 20 June 2025
You will have received confirmation of your child’s Form Group number. This information will let you know which Transition Day your child will attend.

Tuesday 1 July and Wednesday 2 July
Transition Days (8.30 am – 2.30 pm)
Year 6 students who have been offered a place at St Peter’s will attend one of our Transition Days. These days are designed to help students familiarise themselves with the school, meet key staff and fellow students, experience KS3 lessons, and begin forming friendships.

 

 

On the same day as the Transition Days, we will be holding our New Intake Evening for parents and carers of incoming students. Please allow approximately one hour for this important information session.

New Intake Evening 1 - Tuesday 1 July

(for parents and carers of students in Form Groups 1-4)

• Presentation at 5.30 pm
• Presentation at 6.00 pm

New Intake Evening 2 - Wednesday 2 July

(for parents and carers of students in Form Groups 5-8)

• Presentation at 5.30 pm
• Presentation at 6.00 pm

Please note:

• Please only book for ONE presentation
• Please make sure you book for the correct evening
• There is NO NEED to bring your confirmation of place to the evening
