The year 12 trip to Cromer, Norfolk was a resounding success. For many of the students, it would be the first field trip since year 9, which is crazy to think!

It was hugely important for them to get out, experience geography in the field, and collect data which could be used for their NEA.
Mr Nield who ran the trip with Mrs Tranter said “Our students conducted themselves fantastically and took a great deal from the experience, there choice of music on the coach however was not to everyone’s taste”.
During the trip students collected data from 4 beaches along the north Norfolk coastline, focusing on Longshore Drift, erosion and coastal management
The group travelled into Norwich to conduct an Urban Field study, looking at contrasting areas of development and regeneration, the data collected and techniques used will be vital when this is used for NEA projects.
