Welcome to St Peter’s Collegiate Academy, a Church of England school serving pupils from across the city of Wolverhampton.

St Peter’s is committed to developing the whole person, so while we work hard to support their pursuit of knowledge and value academic success we encourage them to focus their personal development upon core values: respect, resilience, agape, discernment and aspiration.

There is a strong academic core to the Academy’s curriculum which maintains breadth with a three-year Key Stage 3 provision. It is knowledge focused allowing pupils to study a modern, inclusive curriculum that facilitates the development of academic study skills and soft interpersonal skills necessary for further study, training and employment. St Peter’s provides a safe environment for students to explore their interests, rewarding personal endeavour and nurtures individuality. Helping the students to become self-aware, kind and loving; learning from the life of Jesus.

The Academy has a long history in the city and is preparing for an exciting future with a partial rebuild of the facilities and a new strategic direction to ensure the Academy keeps pace with changes in society. Our community is central to our core purpose. Acting as motivators, supporters, leaders and carers we can work together to support all students to live in service God and each other. I welcome your thoughts, ideas and feedback to help inform the future planning of the Academy, we need to hear the ‘still small voice’.

It is an honour to undertake the role as acting Principal this term. I am enthused to see our students flourishing as they explore new ideas, discussing their role in our collective future. I am confident they have a lot to offer our community and will enjoy being witness to their contributions.

Mr. Mullen-Furness
