Last Thursday a group of lucky students got to play their part in the Community Games baton relay across Wolverhampton.

Each school taking part was given a Commonwealth country to celebrate with St Peter’s celebrating Uganda in East Africa

The games are hoping to inspire atheletes of the future and generate excitement for the upcoming Commonwealth games taking place in Birmingham later this summer.

The students received the baton from St Michaels primary school and then took it on a tour around the school.

The baton was then handed over to students at Christ Church juniors later that afternoon.
