Remote Learning

How Remote Home Learning Works?

At St Peter’s Collegiate Academy, we understand the need to continually deliver high-quality education, including during periods of remote learning – whether for an individual pupil or many. We recognise the importance of maintaining high expectations in all areas of school life and ensuring that all pupils have access to the learning resources and support they need to succeed.

Here is a recorded live session on what students should expect from our virtual learning platform.

Contingency Plan

What if my child is ill?

We ask that parents inform us that their child is ‘absent’ and not able to participate in remote lessons that day. This should be done before 9:00 am via telephone (01902 558600 Option student absences) or via email to info@stpetersacademy.org.uk.

Working from home

Google classroom is our main communication and teaching resource for all our students.

The content on Google classroom is specific to what students would be studying in school.

Students can communicate with their teachers for each subject through this platform.

Google classroom is accessed through our school website, all students have credentials to log on to this.

If a student forgets their login details please email itsuteam@stpetersacademy.org.uk confirming the name of the student and year group.
